Bucket Lists are based solely on the concept of trying things that you’ve never done before and challenging yourself. Call it a fad if you must, but they have become very popular amongst teens and adults alike. With the help of this article, you will find yourself checking off every item on that seemingly endless list!


Whether you have a Bucket List or not, or whether you call it a Bucket List or not, we all have a list of things that we’d love to try. Every thrill-seeking individual knows which activities are challenging and exciting for them, and sometimes they need to push their limits to accomplish them. At Blue Mountain, we like to think of ourselves as the perfect destination to fulfill every item on your Bucket List!

1. Be the first to try our Apex BagJump
Not only will free-falling through the air definitely check off an item on your Bucket List, but this attraction is also new to Blue! As the newest addition to our long list of Summer attractions, the Apex BagJump made its way onto the Resort a few weeks ago. It’s now open for everyone to experience, so get ready to test your limits! Jump from platforms up to 21 feet and feel the ultimate thrill as you are caught by an enormous air bag.

2. Speed through the trees on a Segway or Mountain Bike
Hop onto one of our off road Segways and fly through the trails across the Niagara Escarpment. Or, if you have a more extreme desire for adventure and speed, try your hand at Downhill Mountain Biking. Soar down the mountain trails at swift speeds on one of our Mountain Bikes for the ultimate adrenaline rush. Both of these activities are rare and extremely exciting, so take a moment to try them at Blue Mountain!  

3. Experience adventures in food
Our restaurants in the Village provide you with many opportunities to lead your taste buds onto an adventure of their own! With over 25 restaurants and eateries, and food ranging from classic Canadian to traditional Greek and Italian, there are many new foods for you to experience. Try something you’ve never had before, and check “try new foods” off your Bucket List!

4. Treat yourself
Although at first glance this doesn’t seem like an adventurous idea, many of us fail to accomplish this daily. Aren’t Bucket Lists all about trying something that you rarely do? So spoil yourself a bit! Take a Spa day, go to the Private Beach, go on a scenic ride up our Gondola, or spend time at our Dockside. Since there are so many options for relaxation, you won’t even feel the slightest bit of stress over finding a place to spend your downtime!

5. Step out of your comfort zone
