Guide To: Blue Mountain Bachelor Party

Does the idea of a classic skeezy bachelor party have you running for the hills (literally)? If so, Blue Mountain might just be the perfect place for you to host the epic bachelor party of your groom’s dreams. Our little slope-side village is absolutely crammed full of activities and party spots to give your groom an unforgettable sendoff from singledom. Follow this guide to take the guesswork out of throwing the amazing bachelor party your best bud deserves. You may even end up with a pic or two that you can actually share when you get home.

Accommodation

Step one to an epic bachelor party weekend is choosing the right accommodation. Blue Mountain Village is chock full of options that will accommodate crews of all sizes. Mountain Walk a great option with big lounge areas, and is crucially within easy walking distance of all weekend activities.

Team Bonding

Blue is packed with adventurous challenges for a guys’ bonding day. Why not try something new with some bike park lessons? Introduction to Bike Park hooks you up with everything you need to give downhill biking a try. It includes a lesson, rental and lift ticket so the only other things you’ll need to pack are running shoes and comfortable shorts. Crucially, the package includes pads and helmets, so you can deliver the groom down the aisle in one piece.

If your ideal group bonding activity is a little slower paced, a round at Monterra Golf could be just right for you. Its 18 slope-side holes will challenge you with its bent fairways, and plentiful water features and creeks, while distracting you with stunning mountain views.

The Plunge Before the Plunge

If all the adrenaline from the bike park wasn’t enough, you can follow it up with a stuntman like jump from a whopping 6.5m onto the Apex Bagjump. Chickening out is optional.

Dining

A great place to fuel up for the big night ahead is the Northwinds Brewery. Located right on the shores of the millpond you can soak up the views while sipping on some tasty craft brews.

The Pre-Game

If you’re not quite ready to hit the bars right after dinner, the Village is full of great places for low key mingling. You could stop by Jozo’s to enjoy some fantastic live music and cold drinks, or swing by Smash Ping Pong and Nite Club for a couple rounds on their tables. Your skills may not be up to Olympic standards, but their selection of tables are.

Celebration

If your goal for the weekend is to party, you’ve come to the right place. The bars in Blue Mountain Village are no strangers to throwing unforgettable bachelor parties.

If you’re feeling particularly rowdy, ask your server to get out the shot ski. Lining up with your best buds for a tandem shot is practically a right of passage in a mountain town.

Recovery

After all of the previous day’s fun you’re likely not going to be moving very quickly the next morning. Once everyone has woken up, a hearty brunch at Sunset Grill or The Pottery is just what you’ll need to help regain your strength.
