A Year In The Life of A 5×7® Pass Holder

It’s not just a season pass – it’s a lifestyle. The 5×7® Pass not only gets you on the slopes five days and seven nights a week*; it also gives you four seasons of access to tons of perks, exclusive events and a community to ride with. It may already sound like a no brainer, but if you’re still debating, step into the shoes of a 5×7® Pass holder to experience what a year in the life can look like!

MARCH

With the new Spring rates available until April 25, 2024, now’s the perfect time to purchase my 24/25 5×7® Pass to gain access to the mountain all year long. I’m excited to take advantage of all the pass perks that come along with it, including new ones like discounts on ski rentals, attraction tickets, and access to exclusive Pass Holder seating at Grand Central Eatery and Bullwheel Pub. What’s even more exciting is the new Buy Now, Ride Now pass perk that will get me on the slopes now before this 23/24 season comes to a close!

APRIL

Spring is all about getting ready for a new season, which is why I’m prepping my gear to store for the summer after the last lift turns. I dropped by the Repair Shop in South Base Lodge to use my 15% off winter equipment repair service! I’m also planning out my summer full of fun so why not also book a mini vacay to extend a day trip to Blue into a full-on weekend getaway? I took advantage of my 25% off lodging perk so I can have a fun trip to look forward to in the green season!

MAY

It’s officially hiking season! The Explore Park is now open so I’m definitely going to get my workout in on one of the amazing trails spanning over 30km of terrain. I guess it’s time to freshen up my wardrobe with some new hiking gear at one of the retail stores in the village like Columbia or The North Face, where I get 15% off. Before I set off, I made sure to download the Blue Mountain app so I can track my hikes and share my adventures with friends!

JUNE

The sun is officially shining to start the summer so I decided to head to Summitview Pavillion at the top of the Silver Bullet Express for a discounted meal with stunning views overlooking the Georgian Bay. The local menu and cold drinks are always a vibe up here! I even took the Open-Air Gondola down using my 5×7® to catch a sunset photo op moment.

JULY

My Blue Mountain summer stay has finally arrived, and I’m making the most of it by getting Play All Day tickets for me and the whole fam. Luckily, this year I get 25% off attraction tickets with my 5×7® Pass so I can explore all the outdoor fun on the mountain! My family and I can’t wait to experience all the Blue attractions like Canopy Climb Net Adventure, Timber High Ropes Challenge, Wind Rider Triple Zips, the Blue Mountain Private Beach, Cascade Putting Course, Lumber Lanes Climbing Centre and SO much more.  Of course I’m going to finish my day off with a sweet treat and head to Chill Seeker for 15% off on ice cream!

AUGUST

What’s summer without a fun beach day under the sun with the fam? We’re hitting the sand with our private beach access from our discounted Play All Day ticket! We plan to relax and munch on some discounted beach snacks all day long. I don’t have to worry about getting bored, because there’s so much to do at the beach with their free water craft rentals, beach games, and volleyball nets!

SEPTEMBER

After seeing some great posts on Instagram of the AGORA: Path of Light trail, I had to go and see it for myself. Of course I used my 5×7® Pass to get discounted tickets and got to explore the mountaintop after dark under the illuminated trail, complete with a night gondola ride down… and I just had to snap a couple pics!

OCTOBER

Fall is here and I’m taking in the changing colours throughout the mountain by hiking the scenic trails and enjoying the view of Georgian Bay. I’m planning to meet up with some of my friends for Pass Holder Appreciation weekend to enjoy the exclusive events and discounts they’ve got for us! Some of the things on the agenda? Doing the photo scavenger hunt, snapping a pic at Summitview Pavilion, and trying some delicious waffles at Chill Seeker.

NOVEMBER

The air is getting colder and I’m getting hyped for the upcoming winter season at Blue. I booked my winter stay already to enjoy a couple days of snowy adventure at my favourite slopeside retreat. But this trip won’t just be fun and games, as I’m planning to get a head start on my holiday shopping by purchasing some Friends & Family Double Down tickets and Blue Mountain swag from Supply Co. for some great stocking stuffers!

DECEMBER

The snow is finally falling! I got to experience the Holiday Magic light trail at Blue under the falling flakes and walk through the illuminated pedestrian village to get the quintessential holiday experience. Of course I put my 5×7® Pass to work and was shredding the slopes whenever I could once the hill officially opened. Night skiing is always a vibe in the early season! I’ll be using my new blackout daily lift tickets to get out there over the holidays as a gift I wrap for myself under the tree.

JANUARY

Time for a new year tune up and an outfit refresh using my discounts at the Repair Shop and retail stores in the village. You already know I’ll be using my 30% off multi-tune deal! It’s peak ski season so I’m planning to fill my days with endless laps on hill, slopeside après, and some retail therapy of course. My friends and I always use the Blue Mountain app to track our laps and find each other’s locations on hill to make our experience seamless. Don’t tell my friends, but I’m using my 35% off deal on Private Ski/Snowboard Lessons to take my skiing up a notch and out-shred them on the slopes!

FEBRUARY

I’m kicking off Family Day weekend with first tracks and stunning mountaintop views at the Sunrise Ski event. To make things even more eventful, I got some discounted winter Play All Day tickets so I can glide along the Woodview Mountaintop Skating trail or slide down Hike N’ Tube to make this weekend one for the books! I can’t wait until next month when I can renew my pass for a whole ‘nother year of adventure.

See, we told you becoming a 5×7® Pass Holder is a no brainer! Catch Spring rates before they’re gone on April 25, 2024 and get ready to experience a year in the life of a pass holder yourself.
