Guide To: Blue Mountain Bachelorette Party

With summer quickly approaching, wedding season will soon be upon us. Planning an amazing bachelorette can be a challenge, but lucky for you we’re here to help give you the intel to make planning the ultimate bachelorette weekend at Blue a breeze.

The Blue Mountain Village has a wide range of accommodation options that are ideal for bachelorette groups. The multi-room condos at Mountain Walk are a great option, with plenty of common space for bachelorette games. Conveniently, they are also within easy walking distance of the village so you can park the car and walk everywhere.

The perfect way to start your bachelorette weekend is with a morning of indulgence and relaxation at the Kaola Spa.  Their Girls Day Away package includes a private yoga class for your group, access to their tubs and saunas, and tasty bubbles and nibbles. Don’t forget to pack your bathing suit, you won’t want to miss this.

The views of Southern Georgian Bay are absolutely stunning and best place to experience them is at the top of Blue Mountain. Sure, you could take the Open Air Gondola to get there, but if you’re an adventurous group, you could also hike all the way to the top. Our trail network winds through the woods and over streams with some opportunities for photo ops along the way. When you get to the top, you can celebrate with a squad shot for the ‘Gram before riding the open air gondola back down. Don’t forget to buy your ticket for the gondola ride back down before heading out on your hike.

Explore Farther

It can be challenging to cover a lot of ground with just two feet and a heartbeat.  A quirky way to venture out further is with a Mountaintop Segway Tour.  These motorized rigs will have you cracking up, while also enjoying the beautiful scenery. Pro tip: Attach a veil to your bride’s helmet for some pretty epic action shots.

Dine With a View

After a day of relaxation and adventure, the waterfront patio of Kaytoo or Northwinds Brewery is the perfect spot for a delicious group dinner. You’ll also love the sunset views across the Millpond while enjoying after dinner drinks.

Hit the Dance Floor

Pretty much all bachelorette parties end up on the dance floor at some point, and our Village is loaded with amazing venues for dancing the night away. If you call ahead many venues will also offer bachelorette packages that include cover, party favours and even a welcome bubbles.

Ladies Who Brunch

The last step to enjoying a successful bachelorette at Blue Mountain is having a delicious recovery brunch at The Pottery. They have options for every taste and dietary requirement with options from a classic brunch menu, to a full buffet with hot and cold options. You can use that time reminisce with your girls about the night before, and generally feel better before you have to hit the road.
