Life’s a beach at Blue Mountain – Everything you need to know for your next visit to Blue Mountain Beach

When planning your summer holiday you don’t need to choose between mountains and beaches, at Blue Mountain you can enjoy both in one day. Read on to learn how to spend the perfect day at Blue Mountain Beach.

How To Get There

At just a short 10-minute drive from the main village, getting to Blue Mountain Beach is a breeze. Our free shuttle runs from the village every 30 minutes, so you never have to wait long for a ride to or from the beach.

Cost

If you’re an overnight guest at a Blue Mountain hotel the beach is completely FREE. Day trip guest entry is available after 3pm for $29 per carload, which can include up to 8 people.

Beachfront Activities

While on the sand you can enjoy beach volleyball, building a sandcastle, a cold drink at the snack hut, or just kick back and relax with your toes in the sand.

Waterfront Activities

Don’t forget your bathing suit, when here you’re going to want to go swimming. The warm shallow water is ideal for guests of all ages to wade in and cool off. To venture out deeper canoes, kayaks and stand up paddleboards are available for you to rent.

What to Pack

The beach is pretty well stocked, but there are a few essentials you should bring for a great day. When packing for the day you should bring a bathing suit, sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses. The snack-bar is open all day for all of your food and drink needs, and towels are complimentary for overnight guests.

When To Visit

Blue Mountain Beach is open June 22-September 2 from 10am-8pm. The beach is open daily, but if your schedule allows we recommend visiting on a weekday for smaller crowds.
