Welcome to our weekly update of the Top 5 Blue Mountain highlights you should know about. Check in here for special events, sales and promotions, and insightful tips to help plan your stay and fill it with fun!

December 5th – 11th, 2022

1. Snowmaking Is Happening at Blue

Our operations team is working non-stop to open as soon as possible, but we need a little more help from Old Man Winter as we ramp up for another great season. We’re battling some warmer temperatures, however, the snow guns are blowing in all available snow-making windows whenever we can. For the most up-to-date info on trail conditions, opening day news and more, download our Blue Mountain app for iOS here and for Android here, or check our Mountain Trail & Attractions page.

2. Make It a Blue Christmas with Blue Mountain Supply Co.

We’ve got something for everyone this holiday season at Blue Mountain Supply Co., with new arrivals having just landed! And this just in; you now have free shipping on orders over $50, and $5 flat rate shipping on orders until $50 until January 1st, 2023! Shred in style in Blue Mountain hoodies or t-shirts, and deck out the whole family with stocking stuffers like socks, hats, mugs, and even sweaters for your favourite pupper pal.

3. Check Out Our New Employee Pass Perks

This winter season, we are especially excited to share that our Employee Pass Perks have been elevated! Brand new perks that not only give employees more options, but the opportunity to bring the mountain experience to your “CREW” (that means friends & family). From Dependant and Companion Passes, to Ikon Pass upgrades, to lift tickets at other Alterra destinations, there’s so much more to working at Blue than just the job itself. For additional info on all of our open positions and employee perks, visit our Careers page here. We hope to see you soon!

4. Become a 5×7® Passholder Before Prices Go Up!

The Mountains are calling, and the best way to answer is with a 5×7® Pass! The 2022/23 5×7® Pass gets you on the slopes five days, and seven nights a week with minimal blackout dates all season long. Plus, the Pass is turning 20 this year! So like any great 20th birthday, we’ve got a few gifts up our sleeves like exclusive all-season benefits, offers, and events for Passholders only like the 20th Birthday Bash on Friday, December 15th. Become a Passholder today before the Pre-Season deadline this Thursday to save before the snow falls, and RSVP: YES! to this Passholder-only party.

5. It’s You Last Chance To Save on Double Down

Build your winter, your way, with Double Down! Our most flexible lift ticket with two transferable 8-hour lift tickets is back, valid for use seven days a week with minimal blackout dates. Use it for two days of skiing or boarding for yourself, or use both tickets on the same day for yourself and a friend. Better yet, give the gift of a Double Down and make someone’s day extra special. Click here to save up to 40% off the walk-up weekend adult rate, but hurry – prices go up on Friday, December 9th, and tickets go off-sale December 24th!
