If you know anything about Blue, you know our employees like to #LiveItOutside. In typical Blue Mountain fashion, we showed exactly How We Blue with a mid afternoon Mini Putt Tournament!
On June 12th various departments embarked on a journey that would take us through the grueling obstacles of the Cascade Putting Course. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and the competition was fierce.
What do Golfers do on their Days Off? Putter Around!
Teams consisted of departments Resort wide – ranging from Housekeeping, to Accounting, to Lifts and everything in between. The format of the challenge was best score per round, and with a shotgun start at 2pm the teams were off! Through the rolling hills, sand traps and challenging rock formations, we had our work cut out for us.
What’s a Golfers Favourite Letter? Tee!
Those who participated in this event showed the onlookers exactly #howweblue. What better way to break up the week than to enjoy one of the many attractions Blue Mountain has to offer.
Winner, Winner!
While we all set out to bring home the trophy (and bragging rights), there could only be one winner. After coming in second place two years in a row, IT’s representation stepped their game up to bring home the win! Bringing their own putters to help give a little edge, it was a well deserved win coming in with a final score of 41 (WOW)
Until Next Year…
It was a day to remember. The sun was shining and laughs were had. It was a great opportunity to get away from the regular work day and remember exactly why we love Blue.
Missed out in the Tournament? No problem! June is Employee Adventure Month – which means FREE (yes – FREE) Mini Putt for staff! Just present your EAPP alongside your Staff ID to play a round of Mini Putt at no charge.
