Summer Time Saving Tips

The long days of summer somehow never seem to feel long enough. To help you make the most of your precious time off we’ve put together some tips to help you save time, and squeeze every minute of fun into your next visit to Blue Mountain.

GETTING HERE

Being smart about traffic is one of the easiest ways to save time. Who wants to be sitting in their car, when that time can be spent sipping a cold one on a patio? Our busiest travel times are Friday nights and Sunday evenings. You can save a ton of time by planning your travel to avoid those times.

Don’t worry, there’s no need to cut your weekend getaway short. Instead, you can indulge in some late day pampering while the roads clear. Many people book themselves in for  massage, or enjoy dinner al fresco, and hit the road rested and refreshed while avoiding the traffic heading South from the Resort.

Another great way to be traffic smart is to extend your stay to a three-day weekend. Coming on a Thursday night, or extending onto Monday will not only make driving a breeze, but will also give you an extra day of fun. Better yet, take advantage of a mid-week stay when the traffic both on the way to the Resort and on-resort is light.

SHOP FROM HOME

In the age of the Internet you can buy pretty much anything from the comfort of your home, and your Blue Mountain vacation is no exception. You can plan, and purchase, your entire vacation before you arrive, so all your time here can be spent having fun. You will not only save you time, but you can also save money by booking ahead. If you’re visiting early season a great deal is our Play All Day Getaway. With it you get unlimited playtime during your stay. Your wristband will let you go from activity to activity without needing to stop to buy more tickets, great for saving time and money!

STAY WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE

One of the best features of vacationing at Blue Mountain is that you can park your car when you arrive, and not need it again until it’s time to head home. Our pedestrian friendly stroll is lined with a wide range of accommodation options making travel a breeze. It’s a quick stroll for early birds to venture for their morning java, and late night revelers can dance the night away and walk home when they’re ready to call it a night.

EARLY BIRD GETS THE WORM

As painful as it can be to set an alarm while on vacation, it is absolutely worth getting up early while you’re here. Not only do you gain hours for adventuring, but you will also take advantage of smaller crowds and attraction wait times. You can pack a ton of fun into the morning before everyone else wakes up, spend mid-day around the pool, then enjoy even more activities late in the day.
