Our name is Blue but in June, we celebrate the rainbow! Throughout Pride Month, our team, our guests and even our littlest Kids at Blue buddies become one big family supporting diversity, inclusivity and love.
Employee Pride Happy Hour
We kicked off Pride Month with a Happy Hour for all Blue Mountain employees. Our team was invited to Jozo’s to enjoy refreshments, share stories and celebrate. The highlight of the event was a performance by our very own Enya Dreams!
Community Pride Hike
We have always believed that outside is for everyone and this pride month, we took that saying to the top! In partnership with our sponsor, Columbia Sportswear, we invited the Rainbow Club of South Georgian Bay, the Collingwood Youth Centre, and the local No Judge Clubs for a complimentary pride hike up the Cascade Trail and over our rainbow hiking bridge.
Kids at Blue Rainbow Parade
Many of our employees have littles in our Kids at Blue daycare and we invited them to join in the most colourful parade Blue Mountain has ever seen. The kids danced to the music through the Blue Mountain Village waving to guests, shop owners and of course, their parents who wouldn’t miss the chance to snap a photo of the cutest little Pride Parade.
Pride Collingwood 2022
Pride doesn’t stop at the end of June! We’re looking forward to being a part of Pride Collingwood in July as sponsor of the Friday Street Party.
