5 Flexible Itineraries For Every Type of Pass Holder

Whether you’re an early riser chasing fresh tracks, a family seeking post-school adventures, or a thrill-seeker craving steep runs, we’ve got something for everyone. With your 5×7® or Ikon Pass in hand, here’s how to make the most of your time on the slopes—tailored to your pass holder experience.

1. Early Bird Itinerary

For first-tracks enthusiasts who savour peaceful mornings and hearty breakfasts:

  • 8:30 AM: Arrive at the Blue Mountain Inn parking lot and gear up for the day.
  • 9:00 AM: Hop on the Valley Express chairlift for serene first tracks on freshly groomed trails.
  • 10:30 AM: Refuel with breakfast at The Pottery Restaurant. Start with a warm coffee and try their breakfast burger or classic eggs Benedict for the perfect start to a ski morning!
  • 11:30 AM: Hit the slopes again, making your way back up the Valley Express or hit up the Village area for more scenic laps and access to Yahoo terrain park.
  • 12:30 PM: Finish your morning off back at the Inn parking lot, departing for an afternoon of R&R before tomorrow’s first turns!

    2. After School Special Itinerary

    Perfect for families who want a fun ski evening after school:

    • 4:00 PM: Park at the South lot on Gord Canning Drive, unload your gear, and head straight to the Southern Comfort chairlift for convenient access to family-friendly terrain.
    • 4:15 PM: Gets the kids warmed up with gentle green and blue runs in the South and Orchard areas.
    • 5:30 PM: Break at the South Base Lodge to hydrate, warm up, and adjust for more varied terrain. Try skiing through the Enchanted Forest off of Voyageur, or check out Grove terrain park in The Orchard for an added adventure.
    • 6:30 PM: End the night with dinner at Bullwheel Pub, located upstairs in South Base Lodge, where kid-friendly menu options and slopeside views await.

      3. Lunch Lappers and Midweek Mountain-Lovers Itinerary

      Enjoy quiet midweek slopes during your lunch break:

      • 11:30 AM: Arrive at the Orchard parking lot before the roundabout to Scenic Caves Road and head straight to the Orchard Express.
      • 11:45 AM: Make the most of the calm midweek atmosphere by carving long, peaceful runs through the Orchard. Lap as many times as you want, with less crowds found midweek throughout the mountain.
      • 12:45 PM: Take a quick snack break at South Base Eatery or one of the nearby Village spots.
      • 1:15 PM: Hit up Southern Comfort, Silver Bullet, or Orchard chairlifts for a few more laps. Test your abilities at one of our four terrain parks.
      • 2:00 PM: Wrap up with a final scenic run to return to the Orchard parking lot.

        4. Night Riders Itinerary

        For those who thrive on night riding and après-ski fun:

        • 5:00 PM: Park at the South lot and ride the Southern Comfort Express to warm up on the South-facing runs. Enjoy the views as the lights begin to glow!
        • 6:00 PM: Head over to the Silver Bullet Express for a bit more challenging terrain under the evening lights.
        • 7:30 PM: Pause for dinner at Grand Central Eatery. A classic burger or snack will keep you fueled, plus pass holders get 15% off dining here!
        • 8:00 PM: Squeeze in a few more runs before ending the night with outdoor mountaintop après-ski drinks at Off-Piste, or pick up a pint at one of the many bars in the Village.
        • 9:00 PM: Head back to the South lot and rest up after your evening of fun.

          5. Steep Seekers Itinerary

          For advanced skiers who love bay views and challenging terrain:

          • 8:30 AM: Start at the North parking lot near the Toronto Ski Club. Take a moment to admire the Georgian Bay views as you gear up before heading out.
          • 9:00 AM: Take the Weider Express up, starting with some warm-ups on blue trails and working your way to more advanced black diamond terrain.
          • 10:30 AM: Venture to the Valley area for a snack or brunch at The Pottery or Jozo’s.
          • 11:30AM: Lap the Valley Express for a few runs, before making your way back over to the North.
          • 12:30 PM: Wrap up with final North-end runs, then return to the North lot for a seamless finish.
