Most Instagrammable Spots

Do you love getting the perfect shot to share your adventures? Blue Mountain is packed full of stunning spots that will make capturing beautiful images easy. We’ve put together a list of some of our most photogenic spots that you should check out on your next visit.

OPEN AIR GONDOLA

This spot is prime because it’s both a journey and a destination. The scenic ride up the Open Air Gondola has endless opportunities for beautiful shots, and the views at the top will have you snapping away all day. With the last ride down close to dusk (depending on the time of year) you will have plenty of time to get those glowy golden hour shots.

How to get here:

Hop on the Open Air Gondola from the village base and it will take you to the top. Don’t forget to grab your tickets from Guest Services before uploading.

Due to the popularity and increased volume of traffic, and in an effort to continue providing the best experience to our guests, as of June 23, a Gondola Ride Down Ticket or Pass will be required to ride down the Open Air Gondola. Tickets and Season Passes will be available at the top of the Silver Bullet or Activity Central and details are on our website. The increased usage of our hiking trails over the years has resulted in significant demand on our trail maintenance crew and the environment. Access to these trails will remain complimentary. We encourage trail usage and invite you to explore all the free activities and events provided in the Village and beyond, including Community Day this Sunday. BASE CAMP

If you’re feeling adventurous our Base Camp offers a range of opportunities for capturing the perfect thrill seeking shot.

How to get there:

The best place to grab the shot is near the trailhead of Village Way hiking trail. From there you can see the Wind Rider Trips Zips soar overhead, Apex Bagjumpers below, and catch a Ridge Runner Mountaincoaster as it speeds by.

 

BIG MUSKOKA CHAIR

Nothing says vacation quite like kicking back in a Muskoka chair. Here at Blue Mountain we have one that will not only fit you, but also all your friends. Climb on and snap a group shot to help remember your amazing holiday.

How to get here:

You can find this chair right in Blue Mountain Village, so it’s easy to get everyone there for the shot.

DECK AT MILLPOND

From the far side of the Millpond you will enjoy the mountain reflected in the still water. Throw in some amazing decks with icy drinks and you have a prime photo locale.

How to get there:

Walking through the Village the Millpond is impossible to miss. I recommend the patio at Kaytoo Restaurant for some carefree waterfront patio shots.

TIMBER CHALLENGE HIGH ROPES

If you’re looking for somewhere a little different and adventurous you should head to our Timber Challenge High Ropes course. Its wide range of elevated challenges will be as fun to do as the photos look after.

How to get here:

This spot is located at the top of the gondola. Head into Guest Services to sign up, and they will walk you though orientation and travel to the top.

 

VILLAGE STROLL

If your aesthetic is more urban, our village stroll offers a wide range of spots to get that perfect lifestyle shot. Grab a coffee from one of our many shops and spend a sunny afternoon shopping and snapping shots along the way.
