August 8-14

1. Lumber Lanes Climbing Centre Now Open!

At Blue Mountain, it’s okay to be “climbing the walls”; in fact, it’s encouraged! Whether you have previous experience or come as a beginner, you’re sure to reach new heights at our Lumber Lanes Climbing Centre which is now open as part of our Play All Day Pass! But beware, because it’s no easy feat; with 8 climbing lanes and 40 feet of fun, find your way to the top and auto belay down for some major bragging rights among your crew, or challenge your friends and family to a speed climb and see who can master the most difficult route. Open daily from 9am – 9pm, click here to learn more!

2. AGORA: Path of Light Tickets On Sale Thursday Aug 11

AGORA is an unusual and magical space inspired by storytellers and cycles of life in nature. As participants walk this circular path, they will encounter a series of interactive lighting installations based on the five elements of air, space, earth, water and fire. Visit AGORA this season to uncover the stories that have grown from the land, and get passed down hand to hand through time. So what’s new this year? Our latest installation called Armonia! Armonia explores the importance of keystone species from the mushrooms that dot the forest floor to the pack wolves that rule the woods. A network of LED light strings criss-cross from underneath a wooden boardwalk simulating the root system that mushrooms create and illuminating the wolves that hide in the background. AGORA: Path of Light runs from August 19th to October 31st, and tickets are available to book starting August 11th. Find out more by visiting our site here.
