A Fun Family Winter Getaway to Tremblant

Whether you’re in the Rockies out west or cruising fast laps on the East, ski culture is a welcome place for all who love getting outside in the winter. As an Ikon Pass destination, we share access with some pretty awesome destinations including our sister resort, Mont Tremblant!

If Blue is your home hill but you’re considering a ski trip to mix up your winter, check out this perfect family winter getaway to Tremblant.

Where to Stay:

It’s a day’s drive to Tremblant from Blue but you’ll have a close and cozy spot to look forward to upon arrival at the Ermitage du Lac hotel. It has convenient underground parking and it steps away from the Village and the super convenient cabriolet.

First Tracks:

A great perk for lodging guests is access to First Tracks on the mountain. The lifts open at 7:45AM and as a guest on-resort, you can automatically add this perk to your pass or ticket. Checkmark with solid fill

All your laps at Blue will have prepped you perfectly for the terrain at Tremblant. There are over 100 trails, 14 lifts with a variety of runs for every level of ability. Check out the interactive trail map to plan out your runs for the day.

Need a mid-mountain break? the Refuge at the top of Versant Soleil is a great spot to grab a snack and warm up with a hot chocolate before taking on the rest of your ski morning.

Make sure to save some energy after skiing for some must-do activities.

Lunch Time:

A trip to Tremblant would not be complete without indulging in poutine with a view! The mountaintop lodge, the Manitou is conveniently located at the summit and serves all your base lodge favourites along with this Quebec classic.

Winter Activities

The skiing is phenomenal but there is much more to do in and around Tremblant. When you’re ready to pack in the ski gear and try some other adventures, the cabriolet makes getting down to your hotel easy.

If you’re keen to explore the area, dogsledding is a fun, unique activity that is a short drive from the Resort. The friendly staff will educate you about dogsledding and the happiest dogs you’ll ever meet will whisk you through a fresh air trek through the forest.

You can also swap your skis for skates at the skating rink located right next to Ermitage du Lac. The rink and the neighbouring ice park are open day and night with coloured lights to play under. Both activities are also included with your lodging stay.

The Village

The Village at Tremblant might look familiar. The Village at Blue and at Tremblant share the same inspired architecture and you’ll notice some similar shops along the European-style pedestrian streets. Make some time to tour the quaint atmosphere and try out a little sugar fix with a Maple Taffy treat or a Beaver Tail for a taste of home.

For dinner you have many great choices but a few stand out options include the Maison de la Crepe, Le Shack or La Savoie (did someone say cheeeeeese?).

Feeling inspired yet? Mix up your ski season with a trip to Tremblant and start by checking out all the other activities they have to offer. Activities at Tremblant
