1. Experience Blue’s New Art Installation Elevate In Celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day

At Blue, we have begun creating relationships with our local Indigenous communities, including with our collaborative work on AGORA: Path of Light, but saw an opportunity to continue bringing our mutual history to the forefront in collaboration with our parent company Alterra Mountain Co. A call for Indigenous artists went out on National Indigenous Peoples Day last year and a selection panel made up of Blue Mountain Executives, team members, and Indigenous community members who Blue Mountain has previously worked with. A piece entitled Elevate | Mbin’ge by Kathryn Corbiere of One Kwe was selected and the official unveiling of the piece is scheduled for this week in recognition of National Indigenous Peoples Day. We invite all guests to explore this impactful new addition to Blue’s mountaintop this summer, and seasons beyond.
