Imagine the best, most exciting, most laugh-inducing, high-in-the-sky, full-of-adventure treehouse you could ever dream up and get ready to live that dream at Blue Mountain this summer. The Canopy Climb Net Adventure is the tree-top playground kids of any age are guaranteed to enjoy. Even adults can’t help but smile when given the chance to bounce around, try some flips, or even just awkwardly jiggle across the nets stretching out from tree to tree.
Back in 2019, before we had ever used the term “physical distancing”, Blue opened an outdoor net experience that allowed kids of all ages to climb, bounce and explore the treetop canopies located on our Mountain. Needless to say it was a hit but like many activities during summer 2020, Canopy Climb remained closed with only booked groups able to access it in summer 2021.
This summer, we are happy to welcome Play All Day guests back to this attraction with a even more areas to play in! The Canopy Climb expansion triples the amount of space kids and grownups have to climb, jump, crawl and slide across this expansive outdoor attraction.
Located a short climb from the base of the Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster, Canopy Climb towers over the bottom of the Village Way hiking trail. It looks like a treehouse created by the Lost Boys of Neverland. After climbing the wooden stairs, guests are invited to jump right into a series of nets that you can bounce around on like a trampoline but with the added thrill of seeing the surrounding trees and wooded area below.
Although the sounds of laughter are likely to accompany your experience, you might just hear trickling water running over a rock feature located at the bottom. There are also suspended tunnels, treetop lookouts and chutes to go through all with vistas of the Resort and Georgian Bay.
Canopy Climb is included in the Play All Day Pass or can be accessed with a Play As You Go ticket. Admission includes one hour of Net Adventure access and you are guaranteed to get a full 60 minutes of smiles with your experience!
